William T. Nieman, 69, of Freeport, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at F.H.N. Memorial Hospital in Freeport. Born on December 8, 1940 in Freeport, the son of Thomas and Ruth (Schneffner) Nieman. He attended Cherry Hill Grade School, Pleasant Prairie Academy in German Valley and was a 1959 graduate of Forreston Community High School. William farmed in the Ridott Township area, he attended Church at First Baptist and was an avid collector. Survivors include; special friends Duane and Betty Frey and family, Gary and Patti Quinn, Peg Schoonhoven, June Runte, and many friends at First Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, sister and uncles and aunts. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 10:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the Church. Burial will be at Oakland cemetery.
