George R. Newberry, 84, of Freeport died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Schwarz Funeral Home, 816 S. Galena Ave., and from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of service at the church.
