Robert Wilson 1936—2016
Robert L. Wilson, 80, of Freeport, died Monday, February 1, 2016, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Robert was born January 23, 1936, in Freeport, the son of John and Marjorie (Hommerding) Wilson. He served for the U.S. Army from 1959-961. On August 25, 1962, he married Sandra Krebsbach in Darlington, Wisconsin. Sandra passed away November 13, 2002. Robert was a Teamster truck driver for 35 years. Surviving are his three sons, Mark Wilson of Carlsbad, CA., Randy (Wendy) Wilson of Freeport, and Jeff Wilson of Orlando, FL.; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Wilson, Jessie Wilson, Haley (Cory) Auer, Hannah (Eric) Martin, Fallon Chenong, Felicia Wilson, Nicole Wilson, and Andrew Wilson. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren, Bryson, Jayden, Cordy, Savannah, Felix, Farrah. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
